Step 1: Enrol in topics
Enrolment varies from course to course. Some courses will automatically select topics for you, others you will need to choose from a list, and some you will need to search for the desired topic.
Courses may be made up of core, elective, option and specialisation topics. You should refer to your course rule for details about which topics to enrol in. You should also refer to your study planner which will include the core topics you must complete and, if applicable, sections for electives, option topics, or major/minor/specialisation topics.
Tip: Have your course rule and study planner with you when you go to enrol.
- Log in to the Student System and select the ‘My Enrolment’ tab
- Choose the course you would like to enrol in
- Click on the link to the enrolment declaration, read the enrolment declaration, accept the terms and conditions and click ‘Agree’
- Scroll down to see the topics available for your course.
Topics will appear with a blue background if they are available for enrolment. Some will have a preselected semester if they are only offered in a singular study period or location. Other topics may have their own drop-down menu where you need to select a study period or location.
To select the topics you wish to enrol in, tick the corresponding box on the right-hand side of the page and follow the prompts to finalise your enrolment. Once you have enrolled, you can register in classes (if applicable).
