Flinders Orientation 2023
Starting university is an exciting experience. It’s a chance to follow your passion, make new friends and learn new skills, all while on the path to your chosen career. Whatever your reason for studying, it can sometimes be difficult to know where to start – especially if you’re new to university-life.
Learn about Flinders orientation and how to get involved. Visit the orientation planner to browse and create your own personalised schedule of events and activities. If you’re in Adelaide, we strongly encourage you to join us on campus for orientation! It’s a great way to help you to find your way around and meet new friends. Sign up for UNIFY to help you get settled in at Flinders and start to create those very important social connections.
Visit Flinders Learning Online (FLO) and enrol in Finding Your Way at Flinders, our online orientation topic. FLO is where you find information about each of the topics you’re enrolled in, including assessment information, your topic coordinator’s contact details, information about how the topic will be delivered and your textbook and reading information. Visit FLO Student Support for further information.
You can follow our social media channels to stay up to date with news, events and information, and the chance to win great prizes! Ask Flinders - Facebook and Hey Flinders - Instagram.

Orientation is the perfect time to connect with others, as you will find many other students in the same boat as you. UNIFY sessions will be held throughout O’Week and Week 1 to provide you with plenty of opportunities to connect with your peers.
All you need to do is register for a session and show up (or log in) on the day and our friendly team of student volunteers will help you.
Visit the Welcome Hub on campus and say hello to our friendly student ambassador team! They can answer your questions and help you find your way around. Just look for the people in the blue Student Ambassador T-shirts.
