Your topic coordinator will let you know how you will receive your assessment and assignment feedback and grade. If you have any questions about the feedback or grade, please contact your topic coordinator.

If you need guidance or support with having an assessment piece re-marked or resubmitted, the Flinders University Student Association offers a Student Advocacy program.

Final topic grades

Final topic grades are available via the Student System after they have been certified by the College Examinations Board. Academic records and course results

A transcript of academic record is a history of your academic performance at the University and shows all topics studied, the grades you have received and your grade point average. The transcript also shows credit that you have been granted for previous study and any prizes and awards that have been received.

To view your unofficial transcript:

  • Login to your Student System via your Flinders dashboard
  • Click on the 'My Exams and Results' tab
  • Click 'View' next to the relevant course
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on 'Get my unofficial transcript by email'

Your unofficial transcript will be emailled to your Flinders University account.

Grade point average

Your grade point average (GPA) is the average of the final grades you have achieved, taking into account topic unit values.

Your GPA can be found at the bottom of your official and unofficial transcripts, or you can use the GPA calculator as a guide

Non-graded pass COVID-19 conversion

As announced on 28 October 2020, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students), outlined several strategies to support our students with the assessment for this period. Students who have received any passing grade from a first-year level topic ONLY [ie a topic with a number 1xxx] conducted in the second half of 2020 may request to have it changed to a non-graded pass (NGP).

To calculate any impact this change would make on your GPA please refer to the GPA calculator.

Fill in the form below to request the conversion of a passing grade

After you have filled in the form you will receive a reply notification via Ask Flinders confirming the conversion.

By submitting this form, you understand and agree to the following:

  1. this request is to convert my passing grade to a non-graded pass as allowable for the second half of 2020 under assessment adjustments authorised by DVC(S). The change to a NGP will exclude this topic/s from my course GPA calculation.
  2. the application is to be submitted within 2 weeks (10 business days) of grades being released by the University.
  3. that by making this request the grade cannot be reverted back to the original passing grade.
