There are a range of facilities available to students at both the Darwin campuses (Charles Darwin University and Royal Darwin Hospital).
Student facilities
Student common rooms and spaces provide bathrooms and kitchen facilities including fridges, microwaves, cutlery and crockery. These facilities are accessible 24/7. (Students are provided with swipe cards to access the buildings 24/7).
Lockers and showers: Keys for lockers and shower facilities are available from reception at the Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH). There is a $20 deposit required for locker key. To request a locker in RDH, please see the student locker key deposit webpage.
Sports and fitness: A YMCA gym with sporting facilities is available for student use on site at both the Charles Darwin University and Royal Darwin Hospital campuses. Visit the YMCA website for further information.

Childcare facilities
There is childcare available on both the Charles Darwin University and Royal Darwin Hospital campus. Please contact the hospitals directly for further information.
Transport
Buslink is the public transport service provider in Darwin.
Free parking, parking permits and pay and display parking are available at Charles Darwin University. Royal Darwin Hospital offers some limited free parking on site.

Trisha Maroney Memorial Prize
The Trisha Maroney Prize is awarded to a student on placement within the Katherine region that demonstrates the greatest in-depth self-reflection and improvement in their own cultural safe practice.
