Study guides

The Student Learning Support Service (SLSS) provide a range of study guides designed to help you with the necessary skills and work for your University studies.

There are guides covering:

• Writing resources - Academic writing, referencing, editing and proofreading, introductions, conclusions and more.
• English language skills - Abbreviations, punctuation, writing style, grammar and more.
• General study resources - General study skills such as tests and exams, lecture noting, time organisation, working in groups, seminars and oral presentations.
• Mathematics resources - Mathematics including statistics, arithmetic and equations.
• Reference resources - You will be informed of the appropriate referencing style to use for your work. You MUST use this style. 

All our guides are also available anytime through the Student Learning Support Service's FLO site for use and download in PDF form.
